How You Can Help

The Seventh Annual Disc’n For Dogs Ace Race disc golf tournament assists animals locally who have been orphaned and are homeless. The tournament will be held Saturday, Sept. 11 at Camden Park, Milan, Ill., starting at 8 a.m. This event is brought to you in partnership with the Quad-City Animal Welfare Center. All proceeds go directly to the Quad-City Animal Welfare Center which is privately funded and the Quad City’s ONLY no-kill animal shelter.

This event has grown steadily, and is now one of the best-attended disc golf tournaments in the area.

Your donation is tax-deductible. Here are some ways you can help out:

Title Sponsor $1000

As the title sponsor, your name will be tied to this fundraiser event in every way possible. Your business name will be incorporated in to the event logo, added to the event title on both the official website and Facebook event page and on the tournament scorecards. Your logo will be featured prominently on the back of the Ace Race t-shirt. you will also be invited to display a banner or product demonstration at the tournament on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010.

Items for the raffle Varies

In years past, our raffle has proven to be very popular and a great way to raise more money for the shelter. Any type of gift certificate, coupon, clothing, etc. would be greatly appreciated. All merchandise donations valued over $100 will be considered as a Tournament Partner and your company’s logo will appear on the tournament t-shirt.

Tournament Partner $100

For $100, your name/logo will appear on the back of the Disc’n For Dogs tournament t-shirt.

Hole Sponsor $50

Sponsor one of the 26 holes used in the Ace Race with a $50 donation. A sign with your name/logo/website will be placed at the tee.

Player's Meeting: about 9 a.m.
Tee off: about 10 a.m.
Fee: $20

Two qualifying rounds of 26 holes
1 point for hitting metal
3 points for hitting chains
5 points for an ACE!

Mulligans will be sold for $1 each. Unlimited mulligans allowed during first two rounds. No mulligans allowed during final round.

5 points earns an entry into third and final round. For every 5 points you earn in the qualifying rounds, you will receive a throw at each hole in the final round (10 points equals two throws, 15 points equals 3 throws, etc.).

Final round is played sudden death in a 9-hole loop until an ace claims the top prize.
